A:Yes, an anti-toppling device is included.
Q:What is the width at the top?
A:Approximately 13” x 13” without anything hanging on it. However, depending upon how many coats (and how big they are), it can take up a lot more space.
Q:Was it hard to assembled?
A:No, very easy to assemble. Directions were easy to follow.
Q:What are the deminsions of the bottom, how much floor space will it take?
A:It is approximately 18 inches x 18 inches. However, to have space for bigger coats, I have mine pulled out a couple of inches from the wall, so I would recommend allowing 20” x 20”.
