A:I guess it depends on the size of your dog?? My trash can has one wall at the side and one wall at the back and it seems nice and sturdy.

Q:What size trash liners would I use?
A:I use tall kitchen trash bags, the same I used with my other trash bins. You don't need specially sized bags for this beauty :)
Q:How are the bags intended to be secured to the bins? Can it be done neat and sturdy?
A:We use the traditional 13 gallon draw string and they stay up fine. Keeping them out of view took a moment, but I just tie a knot at the rim. There is a groove down the center of the side of the inserted bin and I align the knot with the groove so the container slides in and bag is invisible. I did however remove the little handle (just put it in the bottom under the bin if I should need it) because when removing the bin with bag that handle would get hung up. When these bags are gone, I'm going to buy the black stretchy/fitted bags and see if that eliminates the need to tie a knot.
Q:Is there a way to slow down the lid when it opens? The lid does slam against the wall when step on the pedal.
